Thermoplastic Elastomers
Today’s ever changing vehicle automotive sealing business is consistently raising the bar for suppliers to improve performance and produce cutting edge products.
GLUCO, Inc works closely with its customer successfully meeting those stringent requirements. Pioneering the Thermoplastic Elastomer corners molding Gluco engineers knew they had to leave traditional rubber molding technology behind and start with a clean slate.
Today Gluco’s line of Thermoplastic Injection molding machines have success stories worldwide. Realizing precision manufacturing and shot size repeatability would not be enough we took the process one step further.
Extreme linear motion control of the inject screw is required to process out defects from the finished product like splits, sinks and splay. Gluco simplifies the process by providing feed back to processors and having pack and hold screen to dial in the ever critical transition point to a low pressure hold within milliseconds before the cavity is full. This will ensure a solid bond without pushing your extrusion.

Gluco offers two different clamping arrangements which both have fixed lower platens ensuring your extrusion will remain in place. We offer a solid steel side C frame which allows us to offer longer clamp strokes without sacrificing work height. |
| We also have a tie bar style C frame which is popular with our lower ton clamp (15 ton – 75 ton) machines. Offering a more economical solution to your molding requirements. Gluco uses a first in – first out reciprocating screws and barrel style injection unit. Plastic molders know this time tested method is the best way to process any type of Thermoplastic. | ![]() |
